Launch of the 2009 Corporate and Environmental Sustainability Survey
On the 15th April 2009, Effective Governance teamed with BDO Kendalls to launch the Corporate and Environmental Sustainability Survey. The purpose of this survey was to identify the barriers and drivers for QLD organisations in undertaking sustainability initiatives against a number of key elements.
Over 1000 QLD directors and senior executives were approached from a large range of organisation types to determine whether or not there were common themes on the value to be derived from meeting legislative or regulatory pressures, as well as the social and economic benefits that investing in ongoing sustainability would bring.
The results of this survey will be made openly available and we believe the insights that it will provide all interested parties will be gained from its focus on value-add drivers and the understanding of shared issues which will go beyond just 'awareness' which has been covered in the past.
